Each matter receives its own dedicated retainer, providing focused, case-specific support from engagement through completion. For clients seeking ongoing support, monthly retainer options are available to provide continued access to our team across multiple matters.

Medical record collection, indexing, and organization
Initial medical record review and issue identification
One basic medical chronology or timeline per month (up to 500 pages)

Retainer terms
Our retainer packages are designed to provide predictable access to litigation support. Work that exceeds a package's included scope or requires significant additional case development will be identified and discussed with the client before additional hours are authorized.
Does not include Merit Reviews, AOMs, and Life Care Planning Reports. For these expert services, please refer to our Expert Witness and Consulting division for case-specific retainer and services.
Unused hours do not roll over
A replenishing retainer is required prior to additional work beyond the included hours, billed at UPvision's standard hourly rate
UPvision may provide separate project estimates for exceptionally large or complex matters

Additional time beyond the scheduled mediation period is billed per the standard UPvision mediation hourly rate, subject to mediator availability and agreement of the parties. Travel, lodging, facility rental, and other extraordinary expenses are additional and will be disclosed in advance.

Monthly allocation: capacity resets each billing period and does not roll over or carry cash value. Additional matters or large-scope work may require a separate engagement — no fees incurred without authorization.
Travel expenses are not included in package pricing and will be billed separately when travel is required to provide services, including mileage, airfare, lodging, parking, tolls, rental transportation, and reasonable meals. All anticipated travel expenses will be communicated to and approved by the client in advance.
